We had a great time at Cuttermoon Lodge, it was exactly what we look for when we go away for a few nights in the country. It’s beautifully decorated and extremely cosy. The orchard it’s set in is very private and quiet apart from the odd sheep and bird sounds which enhance the country vibe. My favourite bit is the enclosed veranda, it’s a lovely open space to relax, day or night and with the BBQ and hot tub being sheltered it means I wouldn’t miss out on two of my favourite holiday activities regardless of the weather (or have my Prosecco watered down with rain). It was a good place for our lazy dog to lounge around as well without us having to worry where he’d gotten off to.Helen and Jon were very welcoming and struck the right balance between getting you settled in and giving you your space. They also left some lovely treats to start us off, I can recommend the home laid eggs especially. The area itself is very picturesque with lots of nice walks you can start straight from the lodge. While we were there we visited Wyre Forest and Witley Court which I found especially interesting, unfortunately the impressive fountain was being cleaned at the time so we didn’t get to see it going. All in all I thoroughly recommend the lodge and the area in general, we didn’t want to leave and we’ll definitely be back."

"We have just arrived back from a break here and what a lovely place this is. Helen and John are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The lodge itself is lovely and cosy and our two dogs loved it. The hot tub was an added bonus. We arrived to freshly baked cakes and a hamper of goodies. Communication prior to our arrival was faultless and the owner delayed her "school run" to welcome us on arrival. Although the rural location makes it challenging to the reliance on SatNav we were given clear directions which guided us without any problems to the front gate. Anticipation builds as you park in front of the garage and see a large orchard with no buildings in site but winding your way down the bark path you pass the well maintained home of the chickens and geese and a moment later the beautiful log cabin comes into view. It is barely a year old so everything about it is new and the decor is chic with country charm oozing from every detail. The Hot Tub was the icing on the cake and very embellishment including the complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates was in waiting. If Helen could only find a way of controlling the weather this indeed would be paradise for the romantic or the recluse.
